but here's a snippet of of the story:

"we-we don't have enough," the boy's voice shook and dropping some more items Al's hands scraped like a dieing mans over some food that he had accidentally spilt or dropped in his frantic efforts to collect them.

His nails scraped through the spilt cream coating them in the foamy substance, "we-we have to have more," he repeated.

Ed's heart squeezed tight threatening to flip into his throat, "al-" the older brother called again his voice squeezing tightly to swallowed.

"we'll all starve, we can't -we can not run out, there’s not enough,"

"AL!" Ed raised his voice grabbing hold of his brothers shoulders his nervous eyes searching the boy before him.

"Niisan," Al choked on the word and let the things in his hands drop as he wrapped his arms tightly around Edward. The boy's back shook with a torrent of sobs.
